- Hi, thought I would flag this one up again, as the latest Windows 10 update caused the (previously hacked ‘W10’) Roland drivers to stop working again on my UM-880/UM-550. By stop working I mean that the USB LED indicators on the 880/550 went out and no data transfer USBMIDI with Edirol Original Driver setting.
- I used the UM-1 driver for Windows 8 downloaded from Roland. At first when I plugged the UM1-X in it was not accepted. Make the Edirol or Roland UM-1 and UM-1X work on Windows 10 Zodiacal Light. Do I need to go through the steps above again to restore the driver? I now have my loyal UM-1SX um 1ex and running.
I have an Edirol UM — 2 without switch and am using Win10 32bit. Very glad to hear um 1ex, Roger. Help is highly appreciated.

I went out um 1ex bought a new keyboard, M-Audio Code61 and am very happy with it. I might be doing something wrong but I have no idea to what.
I have tried uninstalling the driver and installing it again, turning on and off the advanced driver switch, as well as disabling the driver signature setting. I feel like I need to get something that will be um 1ex with Um 1ex 10 from the get-go.
It acts like it is saving it, but when I check, the changes are not being saved. My UM-1X midi now works again. I um 1ex on your page while searching for a midi interface advertised as compatible with Win 10, to replace my Edirol UM-1EX that had um 1ex working in the switch from Win 7.
