Scenario: Failurus
Topic: Mixed civilization and military missions.

Mission 1: Establish a fishing village and stay on top of wood and stone demands
from the empire. You're given some food and wood to start with because the map is
difficult and does not sustain goats, flax, or olives. You'll have to import olives
and tunics. Fishing is your main sustenance and you've got plenty of coastline to do
it.
Mission 2: Grow the city, keep up with wood and stone demands, defend against
annoying invaders. You'll want to set up a fort immediately, and once you drop one,
you'll have a very small, but very ready supply of javelins to help you hit the
ground running. Having to import tunics gets annoying to manage at this point:
balancing stock and staying on top of distribution is a chore. Also, lions!
Mission 3: Defeat those stinking barbarians, grow the city, keep up with wood,
stone, and now marble demands from Rome, all while defending the city from
aggressive invaders. Hopefully you spent the last mission building up a fearsome
legion and are ready to hand out some payback.

with all Roman cities in your province and one neutral city, Thessalanice. There are no empire requests to fulfill, however you must obtain 50 Empire points to win.
Difficulty level is hard because map is small. Empire Map is Greece, your city is Stobi.

Original Intentions were to use this map for a Sandbox scenario plus a multi mission Civilian scenario. This one has the Goods to Rome Triggers that start on
month 60 and continue until month 76 or eight times. There needs to be a warehouse in the city set up to receive all goods (it can be anywhere).
The Rome wagons will go to the first warehouse built to pick up (goods don't have to be there).
There will be no adverse effects if things aren't as suggested above. When the game is started, map is orientated with North to top.
Suggestions and/or comments, good or bad are welcome.

There is three loans available (20,000 ea.), you just don't see it on screen. However the sound file will play if you use the loan.
Modified by request to add quakes. Quakes will start after three houses upgrade to Medium Hut. If you survive, you may even get a visit from Rome. ie.;

CivCity: Rome
Description
CivCity: Rome is an innovative city building strategy game inspired by Sid Meier's Civilization by Firefly Studios and Firaxis. As a collaboration between Firefly Studios and Firaxis Games, the game invites players to shift focus from building a multi-city empire and zoom-in on the great cities of the Roman Empire, culminating in Rome itself. In terms of game logic, it includes elements from two well-known game series, i.e., Caesar (primarily) and Civilization, giving players the opportunity to build, run and maintain various cities of the Roman Empire.
As the player, you will be charged with building, nurturing and managing one of the great cities of Rome as they endeavor to lead the Roman Empire from its humble beginnings to its mighty zenith. As with most city building games, making sure each neighborhood has access to all the commodities it needs is the primary challenge. The different kinds of items required by the most advanced households will require you to fit a wide variety of shops and services into a very compact area. Overall, research, happiness, production and culture are managed actively in CivCity: Rome.
There are hundreds of buildings including schools, gladiatorial schools, the Circus Maximums, forts for your cohorts, weapons workshops and more, offering a detailed look at Roman life in one of the deepest city-builders created.
Despite the name, CivCity: Rome isn't the next game in the Civilization franchise. So this is more of a traditional historical city builder than a take on cultural victories.

The game offers two types of missions: stand alone missions to include free play (or 'sandbox') and a campaign based mission. The campaign based mission begins when the player, an engineer, is hired by a local stone works overseer to construct a stone mine colony. The player then gets further opportunities to prove himself, meeting such historic characters as Crassus and Julius Caesar. The player is offered various ranks, progressing through such titles as: Quaestor, Aedile, Censor, Praetor and Consul.

Each campaign mission begins with a patriarch to the player offering the greeting of 'Hail!' and then stating the character's title. Midway through the game, the player can choose to embark on military campaigns which involve combat or continue to play peaceful missions which have harder goals but no risk of invasion. The campaign consists of five military and seven peaceful missions
CivCity: Rome grafts a simplified tech tree and a handful of wonders onto a clone of Impressions Games city builders from the late 1990s like Caesar and Pharaoh.
Unlike more traditional large-scale city-building franchises like SimCity, the style in CivCity: Rome is about creating and managing a daisy-chained economy in which raw materials are harvested by citizens from the landscape or by placement of farms, then converted into finished goods. For example wheat, which is grown on a farm, and then taken to a mill and ground into flour for a baker, who then sends the baked bread to a granary where citizens can get it to eat in their homes. Certain finished goods are required for a particular household to evolve. In most cases this upgrade is automatic so long as the house has access to the commodities needed for the evolution. The higher up the socio-economic ladder the house climbs, the more taxes that house will contribute to the city coffers. This alone provides an easy and simple way to increase your finances.

Playing the game
Playing the learning campaign is strongly advised. The campaign is not a tutorial but a series of linked scenarios that will teach the full range of buildings available in the game and how to use them. By the end of the campaign, you should be an accomplished Roman town governor.

After the campaign, you can choose a scenario from the single mission screen and play the style you enjoy, at a difficulty level you are happy with. Some scenarios have economic goals such as collecting resources, raising a cities Civilization level or building wonders or a certain number or buildings. Some scenarios will have a more military outlook and others no goals at all, which will allow you to build without worry as long as you want. There are two 'sandbox' scenarios that start with extra denary (75,000 & 100,000). You can also find sandbox (blank map with plenty of Denary) scenarios on the scenario page (Maps & Scenarios button to left or the link below).
You can also find user created scenarios and maps on this page: Scenarios.
